TASTYNOMS – MUNCHIES & MORE

Share   It’s pretty snacktacular, if I do say so myself.  One old recipe – tried and true – and one new one as an experiment. My apartment smells like jealous neighbors and deliciousness. BEER MUNCHIES (on right) recipe passed down from a coworker at my last job INGREDIENTS 2x PKG Oyster Crackers 2x PKG Dry Ranch Dressing Mix 2x CUP Canola Oil 4x TBSP Dill Weed 1x TSP Garlic Powder 2x TSP Lemon Pepper Preheat oven to 200. Whisk the oil and spices together in a bowl until thoroughly mixed.  Mmmm, salty.  Place crackers into a large roasting pan and pour the mixture over them slowly, stirring to make sure they get covered as evenly as possible.  Place the pan in the oven and bake for 5 MINUTES, then remove and stir the contents.  Bake for 5 MORE minutes and stir again.  Let cool and place in an airtight container or serve right away. KABIBBLES (on left) These are not the kabibbles mentioned in the Cat Who… series, but that is where I got the idea to go googling for them, so.. this recipe comes from recipesworldwide.com. INGREDIENTS 1x PKG Garlic/Onion Croutons 1/2 CUP melted Butter 2x TBSP Sesame Seeds 2x TSP Celery Salt 1x TSP Paprika Preheat oven to 275. Combine butter, sesame seeds, celery salt and paprika.  Toss with croutons in a large bowl to ensure coverage as evenly as possible.  Place on a baking sheet.  Bake for 20 MINUTES, removing to stir every 5 minutes.  Cool Continue Reading →
